The Louisiana Meat Processors Association is always looking for new members to support the meat processing industry. Besides monthly meetings of the LAMPA officers to discuss industry related regulations, technology and news, we host two yearly meetings. The Spring and Fall meetings are a great chance to hear from your industry counterparts, to network and to listen to one or more great speakers that we have attend each meeting.




Membership in the Louisiana Meat Processors Association provides many opportunities to learn about trends in the industry, to support your industry by being as involved as you would like to be, and to get to know your colleagues in the industry. LAMPA membership ensures you the:

  • Opportunity to attend semi-annual meetings with speakers who will update you on trends in the meat processing industry so that you can remain competitive and ahead of the curve.
  • Access to the services of a full-time lobbyist who works year-round in the Capitol City to keep LAMPA members informed about pending laws, rules and regulations affecting the industry.
  • Access to the services of a full-time executive director who works year-round to keep our membership informed and up-to-date on relevant issues. Our members receive regular email and/or fax updates on legislative and other activities affecting your business.
  • Access to the Commissioner of Agriculture and his executive staff.
